This position will be part of the dynamic Global Curriculum Development Team and will design learning experiences that inspire passion in Dermalogica Professional Skin Therapists and Medical Esthetic Service Providers around the world.

You will be the expert voice and resource to create workshops and learning tools for Dermalogica’ s professional products and services, as well as retail products and selling techniques.

As a key curriculum lead, you will create and maintain all curriculum pieces related to trade and consumer, using innovative teaching methods for in-person workshops and creative authoring tools for online courses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create curriculum and associated resources utilizing the latest training techniques for maximum impact.

Create engaging learning activities that test the learner’s knowledge and enhance the education process to improve subject matter retention.

Develop, create, and maintain an advanced curriculum designed to upskill medical-based Professional Skin Therapists and Service providers.

Be the subject matter expert to support storyboarding and the creation of engaging and dynamic e-learning courses or workshops for skin therapists, service providers, and retail staff.

Develop and contribute written and visual content including PowerPoint slide decks, training manuals, blogs, articles, video scripts, and science animation scripts to support product innovation launches.

Partnership with the Innovation and Technology Manager to generate and design 3-D science animations by providing the script, storyboard, and key visuals.

Consult with subject matter experts to identify vital information and new research when appropriate for course content conception.

Develop a training framework for each product innovation launch that includes live-stream presentations for global teams and market leads.

Create, direct, and participate in internal and external training videos and visual resources for services and products.

Support the Global Education Team with class revisions, new class structures, meetings, seminars, and training as often as required.

Proactively develops skills to maintain a high standard of educational delivery, regardless of audience or environment.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Current CA Estheticians license required
• Five (5) plus years of hands-on experience in esthetic services including medspa service required
• Previous experience with Dermalogica products and protocols preferred

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
• Experience with Articulate 360 curriculum authoring tool a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management

• Upbeat, positive attitude
• Flexible
• Driver’s License required

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to travel at least 10% (includes occasional overnight/weekend travel) required
• Ability to support flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings when required
• Ability to be in Carson, CA office minimum of 3 days per week required
